How to Use [Place]에 N이/가 있어요 /(There is/are ~~)
→ 둥지에 새가 있어요.
(There is a bird on the nest.)
→ 나의 지갑에 사진과 돈이 있어요.
(There are a picture and money in my wallet.)
EXPLANATION:
➤ N+~이가 있어요 is used to express the presence of someone or something at a certain location.
➤ To use "~이/가 있다/~이/가 있어요
Noun ending with a 받침 uses ~이 있다
ex: 저금통에 돈이 있어요
Noun without a 받침 uses ~가 있다
ex: 나무에 새가 있어요.
SAMPLE CONVERSTATION:
Hyejin: 엄마, 저기 봐봐요!
(Mom, look over there!)
Mom: 어디?
(Where)
Hyejin: 저~~기...... 전기선위에 까마귀가 많이 있어요.
(The~~re..... There are many crows on the electric line.)
Mom: 와. 신기하네...
(wow. It's amazing!)
Hyejin: 네, 그렇게 많이 몰려 있는 것을 처음 봐요.
(It's my first time to see such numerous (crows) gather together. )
